HOW YOUR DONATIONS ARE USED
Thank You for Your Continued Support
When you donate books, DVDs, CDs or other items to the Friends of the Sunnyvale Public Library, those items are sold at Book Sales, in the lobby or online. Money from the sale is then used to sponsor a wide range of Library programs, services and resources. Financial donations also go toward Library programs and services.
We sponsor:
- Summer Reading Program (events, prizes)
- Winter Reading Program (events, prizes)
- Authors and other expert speakers
- Monthly Book Groups (extra “honor” copies of the monthly book)
- Craft programs for children and adults (supplies, experts)
- Movie license (screenings of popular movies)
- Community art, such as the Sunnyvale Gingerbread Village
